Keith Haring
42 x 50 in (each)
Fertility Suite Complete Portfolio (Littmann pp. 31–33) is a portfolio of five screenprints created by Keith Haring in 1983. Among the artist's most recognisable print series, the suite explores themes of creation, renewal, growth and human connection.
Throughout his career, Haring returned to symbols associated with life and regeneration, including radiant babies, dancing figures and fertility motifs. Across the Fertility Suite, these recurring elements are transformed into bold, highly structured work that balance movement, symbolism and colour. While each print functions as an independent work, together they form a cohesive exploration of fertility as both a biological and symbolic force.
The suite was produced during a key period in Haring's career, as his imagery moved from the New York subway system into galleries, museums and major print projects. The vivid colours, graphic clarity and simplified forms that define the portfolio reflect the qualities that established Haring as one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century.
