Untitled, 1985 (Littmann P. 50) by Keith Haring is a vibrant screenprint that features some of the artist's most distinctive line work within a tightly structured piece. Created during a key period in Haring's career, the work demonstrates his ability to transform simplified figures through repetitive line work and colour.

Dominating Untitled are a series of large interlocking figures whose bodies connect across the picture plane to create a unified whole. Instead of functioning as separate individuals, the figures depend upon one another, forming a carefully balanced arrangement that emphasises cooperation, movement and shared energy. Haring's celebrated dancing figures holding hands appear throughout the work, their animated poses reinforcing the sense of vitality that runs through the work.

The bold palette is characteristic of Haring's street and studio practice. Bright blues, reds, greens, yellows and pinks are contained within strong black contours, creating a piece that is instantly legible while maintaining a remarkable visual intensity.

Like many of Haring's most successful prints, Untitled, 1985 balances accessibility with complexity. The image can be appreciated immediately through its colour and energy, while closer examination reveals the careful relationships between its interconnected forms.
