Blueprint Drawing 14 (Littmann P. 182) by Keith Haring spreads four panels across a single sheet in stark black ink on white, each one a fragment of the visual mythology Haring had spent a decade building.
The blueprint reference is literal on two levels at once: a nod to the reproduction process that gives the series its name, and to blueprint in the ordinary sense — a plan for something not yet built. Made in 1990, in the final months of Haring's life, the four-panel structure reads less like a finished statement than a set of instructions, the architectural scale giving even this late, urgent work a sense of something still being laid out rather than concluded.
