Blueprint Drawing 10 (Littmann P. 180) by Keith Haring gathers a wide range of Haring’s recurring symbols into a sprawling arrangement of framed episodes orbiting around a central radiant figure.

Produced in 1990 as a screenprint, the work revisits imagery first developed across Haring’s subway drawings, murals and earlier prints, reorganising these familiar motifs into a densely layered monochrome network that feels both archival and improvisational.

Rather than unfolding as a conventional narrative, the work behaves more like a visual map of Haring’s symbolic universe. Images repeat, mutate and echo one another across separate compartments, allowing motifs developed throughout the 1980s to reappear in altered relationships and new structural combinations.

Blueprint Drawing 10 reveals Haring treating his own imagery almost retrospectively, returning to symbols accumulated across a decade of public practice and restructuring them within a more analytical and fragmented visual framework. Through repetition, interruption and shifting scale, the print transforms Haring’s familiar figures into components of a larger system suspended between personal mythology, public communication and visual memory.
